Some say

Some say love, it is a river
That drowns the tender reed
Some say love, it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed
Some say love, it is a hunger
An endless aching need
I say love, it is a flower
And you, its only seed

shadow of a memorie

It's the heart, afraid of breaking
That never learns to dance
It's the dream, afraid of waking
That never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken
Who cannot seem to give
And the soul, afraid of dying
That never learns to live

Gerber power

When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long
And you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snow
Lies the seed
That with the sun's love, in the spring
Becomes the rose
The Rose  - Bette Midler

and she danced

Not really up to pare at the moment. Weather perhaps.. changing of seasons.. just that odd state one gets into. that and with being cold one day hot the next.. really taxes my body.
so if I don't get around to visiting you.. please know why..
until next time..
I hope your day is kind and soft..
soft hugs always ~Hope

  5. I have a sense that this year is going to be a strange one before it's all over without a doubt and I think it's more than a seasonal change frankly but one thing I know seeing this blog gives me a sense of hope which is undeniable.

  10. There's a seasonal thing at work when this funk takes hold of our spirits, but I've come to embrace it as a reminder that we aren't meant to live static, unchanging lives. It's like our hearts are reminding us that we need to love ourselves a little more and nurture ourselves as much as we try to nurture others.

And you DO nurture others, Hope.

Thank you for the positive energy which permeates this place you've created for your friends. I know when I come here, beaten and battered by the day, I'll leave refreshed and empowered.

Thank you so much for that.

Hang in there, and I hope the blues pass soon.

    Love you, sis...
