now at peace

a friend of mine died.. she was a troubled soul.. always wanting to be accepted,, she just never understood that she was..the poem below is one that she wrote just before her death..  I believe that she found the peace she so wanted in life..
I will miss her.. deeply.

I Surrender

I pray alone on the

mountain tops of night.

It is so calm, so still. All is dark; yet coming closer and closer

to me is a robe of great brilliance.

I close my eyes in fear. It's the full sun.

He stops before me,

dazzling, dancing.

His presence pierces through my whole being yet consuming me not.

I kiss the earth before

brilliance. I let go and fly to ecstasy.

Oh, God, before such beauty I Surrender!

  3. I think I understand what your friend felt, Hope.

Your loss is great, but please know that she is at peace. I truly believe that some of us weren't meant to find the happiness your friend hoped for; our task is to discover another kind and to devote ourselves to it completely.
I find my greatest happiness in writing and am content with that.

    *offers a nice, long hug*

One day we all will come to the end of lives journey here on this earth, only to come to an understanding of what it means to live eternal.
Take care and God Bless you.
