Our Forests are dieing..
so many of our pines have been infected by the pine beetles. Makes me sad that so many of our trees are dead.
There is still a wonderful sense of softness and peace here though..
this huge bolder..was just sitting feeling grovey, under the warm sun.
I think Gnomes live here
sat here awhile thinking of a friend..
This butterfly landed on my knee.. we just sat and talked for a little while.
Be careful of your thoughts, for your thoughts become your words.
Be careful of your words, for your words become your actions.
Be careful of your actions, for your actions become your habits.
Be careful of your habits, for your habits become your character.
Be careful of your character, for your character becomes your destiny.
until next time.. God be with you..

The little butterfly looked like she was in pretty rough shape, Hope; see the raggedy wings?
ReplyDeleteI think she needed a friend and chose you.
She chose very well.
I do love you, sis...just wanted to make sure you know it.
...and I believe your friend knows you are thinking of him, Hope; I believe that with all my heart...
ReplyDeleteHope, Some nice images from your walk. I really liked the water with the rainbow rays of sunshine. I was in Colorado recently and I was saddened at the sheer volume of whole mountains of dead trees killed by the bark beetles. I'm enjoying your blog.
ReplyDeleteGod bless,

Wow, Hope. Your images are beautiful. I also enjoyed the ragged looking butterfly. Its raggedness was lovely and delicate. I love the Earth like you do. It felt good to come here to your blogspot, look at gorgeous images of nature, read your tender words, and listen to the sounds of the Earth.
ReplyDeleteLove you.
Good Morning Hope.
ReplyDeleteEach and every word here I agree with .
Your Blueberrys are so beautiful .
The Vista at the top had to take your breath away . I know it did mine.
Loved your view with Outstanding photography and your words unforgetable.

Our forests are dieing also, but we have more diversity in trees so not all are going. But you have managed to see all the beauty that still lays hidden when one opens their eyes to it. Love the sun spray... Hugs carrie
