a Ocean, a lake.. and peace

Got home today.. was a long trip home.Had a wonderful time.. .
the place where we stayed was the most beautiful lake I have ever seen.. there were water lilies by both docks. Mom told me that what we call water lilies are really lotus blossoms.. which means Good Luck and Peace.. I can testify to the peace they give.. to look out at the blue water on a lake , with the contrast of pink flowers swaying with each ripple puts one in complete awe..

it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen..and the lake was amazing..its water was warm.. each morning the fog would roll in..there was such beauty all around.

the home we stayed at was amazing.. and the grounds around the house leading to the lake was covered with flowers.. paths.and trails..

I so wanted to see a rainbow.. and was so surprised when I upload this photo of the home we stayed at..

the ocean was about 9 miles from where we stayed.. got to spend a few days there.. it was so very cold.. and the wind was nasty but the sea was ever so beautiful

missed you all.. glad to be home.. will update again soon..
sandy hugs..
for my sisters by choice.

    Hi, sweetie, and Welcome Home!!!

First of all, thank you so much for posting the photos of the ocean and the beach for Lisa and me; the images were wonderful and I could feel the love in both.

The place where you stayed looked so inviting; with all the flowers surrounding it, the hummingbirds must have found it inviting, too! Did you see any during your stay there? Please know that Lisa and I were with you in spirit during your time away, and you were never more than a thought away.

You wrote about feeling a little out of sorts at first, being so far away from your mountains, and I felt a little sad for you, but because you have a heart so open to life, I just knew once you got to the ocean and immersed yourself in the environment you'd be okay.

I look forward to seeing more photos you captured during your time away, sis, and hope that you have lots of photos in your heart and imagination to remind you of a wonderful retreat. May they return you to a happy, peaceful time whenever you remember them.

I'm so glad you had a wonderful time on your vacation, but happier still you've returned to us, safe and sound.

I love you, sis; thank you for your presence in my life.

  3. I am so happy you both loved your names in the sand.. Lisa.. I am so sorry for adding another s.. to your name.. I had written the name like 3 times.. had a hard time trying to get them captured before the waves would rush to shore and take them away.. the wind was harsh and cold that day.. the waves would rush into shore so fast..
    I love you both..

I dunno, Hope...Lissa could very easily be the affectionate one sister might give another...

    Besides, it sounds very pretty...
